Blueprint JD values engaging, objective and original work by authors.    We accept well-written, researched, thoughtful articles from informed lawyers, career advisors, and law students.

Simply put, we provide diverse law students with quality career information and advice.   To ensure we fulfill our mission, our editors review each submission prior to publication.  If a submission receives a positive review, our editors check for grammar, style, and plagiarism before publishing it on the Blueprint JD Blog.

Copyright and Payment

Blueprint JD is a nonprofit organization and only accepts articles on a contribution basis.  Our authors receive no compensation other than that warm, fuzzy volunteer feeling.

While Blueprint JD takes all reasonable efforts to ensure none of the articles published on its blog are illegally reproduced or infringe upon another’s copyright, we won’t hesitate to remove an article in the event such an instance has occurred.

Control of Content

All published articles are the original work of the authors.  Neither Blueprint JD or its supporters have any influence over the advice, recommendations and opinion in, or the direction of, the contributed article.

In our effort to provide our readers with unfiltered, unbiased content, we do not publish any of the following:

  • Sponsored articles
  • Articles with affiliate (i.e., paid for) links
  • Articles with self-interested promotion

We reserve the right to change our Publishing Policy at any time without notice to best serve the mission of Blueprint JD.
